About Emory Petrack Photography

Emory Petrack is a Boston and Provincetown-based fine arts photographer who finds inspiration in the beauty of sand and sea. With over five decades of exploration in outer Cape Cod and New England, his work reflects his deep appreciation for the beauty and tranquility the natural world offers.  As a retired emergency physician, Emory understands the importance of finding peace amidst life's stresses, and that photographs of the natural world can have the power to alleviate stress and bring a sense of serenity to both himself and others.

Recent exhibitions include a solo show in Cambridge MA, "Stillness at the Edge: Landscapes and Seascapes of the Cape and Beyond,” and group shows in the Boston area. His work is in the collection of Tufts Medical Center and is on permanent display in the Tufts Medical Center Emergency Department through a grant-funded collection. Emory is a juried artist at the Cape Cod Art Center and a longstanding member of the Boston Camera Club.
